COMPRESSPORT Sky&Clouds Run - 18.6.2022
COMPRESSPORT Sky&Clouds Run is scenic extreme trail which connects 4 beautiful High Tatras mountain lakes - Štrbské, Popradské, Batizovské and Velické. It is the 2nd stage of Tatry Running Tour "EXTREME". Its highly demanding route (~34km) features approx. 2000m of ascent (and the same descent), its highest point is at the elevation of 2045m. It will take place on June 18th, 2022

If age category has less than 5 participants, they might be merged to younger age category
Eligibility: well trained runners in good physical condition, min. 18 years old
Awards:
Absolute winners (M/F) receive special hand made trophies. First 3 (absolute ranking M/F) will receive vouchers from Compressport.
3 best runners in each category will receive medals.

Refreshment:
beverages and food stations in finish area and selected points on course
after ca. 20km Sliezsky dom - main refreshment station on course, cut-off limit to leave this point is 4hours
after ca 27km Popradské pleso
Mandatory equipment:
The race has semi-autonomy character, each runner needs to carry mandatory equipment during the whole race, it might be checked by organizers anytime before start, during the race or after finsh
List of mandatory equipment:
- rainproof jacket with hood
- water supply - min. 1l
- own cup min. 0,15l for refreshment stations
- first aid package incl. survival blanket
- functionat mobile phone with recharged battery operating in Slovakia with no hidden number - number has to be verified/ provided at the presentation during mandatory quipment check
- mountain rescue insurance (will be checked before the race)
- food reserve
- ID card and small money reserve
- whistle
Recommended equipment:
- additional wear - long running trousers, additional long sleeve top
- suncream with high factor suncreen, vaseline
- trekking poles

Checkpoint Sliezsky dom (after 20km) - 4 hours
Total time for finishing the race 7 hours
Participation shall occur only at the risk of the entrant. All participants must be physically fit to take part in the race.
As all courses are in Tatra National Park, all entrants have to keep the national park visitors rules. All participants must have mountain rescue insurance. Sporting and fair-play behavior is strictly requested. The race bib must be permanently visible throughout the race, i.e. it must be positioned over the clothes, in the area of the chest or abdomen, and cannot be fixed on the leg or back.
Only participants with visible race bibs will have access to refreshment stations. It is fundamental that participants help any person in distress and alert the nearest staff. Anti sporting behavior will be penalized and may result into disqualification from the race.
For reasons of force majeure organiser reserve the right to modify courses, timetables or cancel the race.
